Ghost Gathering

Halloween is here!!Well i guess its over by the time I've posted this...XD

A New Taste to Halloween

Halloween this year was slightly different for me, it was my first time ever to actually dress up, head to town and be apart off a ghost gathering.

The Gathering

It wasn't a party, it wasn't a scripted event, it was a random gathering organized by a group of friends and i loved it! (Thanks to May, Peng, JWei, LooShin and the gang XD)

Its basically a simple gathering of friends and all we had to do was dress up or look dead and meet up at the curve Damansara by 7pm. About the 7pm arrival...well...the jam was massive...we had to literally crawl in traffic to reach there...so it pretty much dragged up to 8.45pm.

The 'Ghosts'

When I arrived, i was afraid of being overdressed but I was obviously wrong...there were several people there who went all the way in dressing up.
There were a variety of ghosts...let me see of how many that i can remember...

1. LooShin the Killer Doll
2. JWei the Slit Mouth Ghost
3. May the Japanese Ghost who drowned
4. Peng the Japanese Student who committed suicide
5. JJun as the Crazy Doctor
6. A boy who dressed as a Chinese 'Pocong' carrying a cake
7. The 'I Know What you did Last Summer Ghost'
8. A devil with cute red horns

and I was the Malaysian ghost who went to Japan and died in the Hot Spring because i fell asleep while bathing XD. (for the other 'ghosts'...sorry but i couldnt really recall...short term memory problem)

The Beauty of Randomness

Like I said it wasn't a scripted gathering, so it was rather like a 'What should we do next?' thing. My personal opinion when it comes to events such as these, there are 3 main rules to abide by:

1. You need a group of random people
2. You cannot be Shy Shy Cat
3. JUST DO IT!!!

and yeah...May and the gang were awesome XD
So we decided to walk around The Curve and haunt the area. You should see the faces on people who walked pass us...it was priceless...We actually literally made some little kids cry and scream...and all their parents did was laugh...hahaha....I have to admit that it was fun :P

TESCO haunting

Half way through the walk, Joanna reminded me that we had to do our grocery shopping in TESCO. I was like 'what? In this costume and make-up?'....silence....and I told myself 'Screw it! Lets Go!'. So we walked to TESCO and I took a trolley for our grocery shopping. There was one lady selling 'corn in a cup' who really got scared of me...and there was one parent who told her child this, "Tengok tu...darah...hantu makan budak itu"..It was hilarious! and for the first time ever, I was getting more attention than Joanna :P

'Ghosts' at the bar

The night ended with us hanging out at 'Laundry Bar'. So the ghosts sat down, ordered drinks and minggled.

Thanks May and the gang for organising this gathering!
